The Effects A Boy Can Have <33

I finished my semester at BYU and drove home. Ashley and Brian had a really crazy week coming up soon, so she asked if I would be willing to stay with them for a week to help watch Bryton. Of course, I said I would. Not only would they help me out in a heart beat, and they have helped me many times before, but being with Bryton is like nothing else. I could be feeling down. I could be stressed. I could be tired. I could be feeling any combination of emotions, but the second I am with him, I feel all of it lifted off of me. He is an automatic pain reliever. So, how else would I want to spend a week? I would not only be helping out my family, who has always been there for me, but I am also getting to spend it with the boy who makes all problems go away. Plus he's just so cute! I can't wait to see him again!

Bryton still LOVES outside. He loves to be in water, whether it is the shower, bath, little kiddy pool, or the regular pool. He gets so excited when he finds out he's getting in the water; he gets very hard to contain with all his excitement. He also likes the park. He likes the swings. He'll go down the slides too. Funny thing is, he is also content to just play with the bark too!

So I am FINALLY on break from school. I am back from my week in St. George helping Ashley and Brian with Bryton. I now have to get busy with work, getting back into shape (hahaha), enjoying the summer! Plus counting down until the end of June when I get to see that boy I'm crazy about again! I can't wait 'til Pheonix to see Bryton again! Would it be crazy to to make another trip to St. George??

5 Weeks Down, 11 More to Go

My winter semester has kept me pretty busy. I am already 5 weeks into it, which I must say, makes me so excited!! I have about 11 more weeks until I'm done for the semester! I just took a physiology test. There was multiple choice and short answer. On the multiple choice I got a 91%. I haven't gotten my score for my short answer portion of the test. My class section's average for the multiple choice was 71%. I haven't gotten my score for my short answer portion of the test. Which, that reminds me of what a moron I am. I actually took my physiology test and turned it in with the whole last page blank! So I didn't answer the last 6 short answer questions. I was able to talk to my professor, and he let me make it up in his office. But boy, oh boy, do I feel like a retard now!

I am planning a trip back home to California, right now, which I can't wait for!!! It will be so great to be out of Utah for a little bit, and back in California for sometime! I can't wait to see some California sky. I am hoping that the weather will be nice enough that I can go the beach for a day!

Mother's Day 08

Today is mother's day, but I didn't really have a present for my mom. I feel kind of bad, but I don't have a lot of money and I didn't really know what to get her. So gave her a nice picture of us.
I found out that a grandma of a family I know just died this Thursday. I feel really bad because I know what it is like to loose a grandma and at this time of the year, right at Mother's Day. I am baking them a bunch of cookies, which I make great cookies by the way, and I am bringing them by their house tomorrow. That is the only thing I can think of that I can do.
I can't help but think of some of my best friends that I haven't seen in awhile. Being home has made me think of them even more. I hope that they are doing okay, and I sometimes wonder if they are doing the same as me- wondering about me. I know that they are doing what they should be. I just hope that I won't be forgotten.

Second to last day of the semester! I went to my classes and once it was finished, I picked up my friend, grabbed some Taco Bell, went to the dollar theaters, and watched Juno. It was funny and actually pretty sweet. After the movie, we went by Krispy Kremes to say "hello" to one of the workers that gave us a bunch of free donuts the other day. Plus there was fresh, hot donuts just made, so we grabbed our free sample! Mmmm...

I have so much to do, and I have to get my stuff planned out. Studying for finals. Packing. Talking to my apartment manager for early checkout. I am so tired of everything: the school work, my roomates, provo, drama. I just want to be done, but I don't see that happening anytime soon. But, I will do just fine. I always do.

Ladies Night

Today, was called a "ladies night." I got together with a friend and another girl I had just met earlier in the week. We went to Kneaders for dinner. Once we got done eating, we went to Maceys to get stuff to make smores and to scope (to see if there was anything funny and memorable we can do in Maceys), but it turned out that we just got the smore ingredients. Later, the three of us made smores and watched the Miss USA pageant. It was fun, but it made me want to get dressed up, go out, do more, and just live. I want to have fun all the time! I want to make a difference! I want to feel alive!

I had a fun with the "ladies night," but I by the time I got home I had a killer migrane, once again. So, I tried to relax my and take care of head so I can study and do my research paper tomorrow!

I am always told that I let people walk all over me, and that is why I get used so much. I am constantly advised that I need to take a stand, and not just sit quiet when it happens. Well, I actually listened to that advise for once, and I immediately wish I hadn't. I didn't even do anything awful, but I saw the way it affected the person, and I don't like making people feel that way. It made everything so much worse. Maybe it was still deserved or deemed understandable by others, but I felt awful. I wish I could go back and do things over again...but I can't. My question is, How come people can walk all over me and use me, or I actually stand up for myself, but either way I end up feeling like I am the smallest person??

Other than that rather upsetting incident, I was able to get a few things done, and had a pretty productive, yet comfortable day. Hopefully, I can just roll with this punch and the few more punches to come, and I will be home in just 14 days.
